- How do I get in touch with you about making a booking?
If you go to our contact page, you'll see how to get in touch with the "man with a plan" . . . . . it's Tony!!! He is our admin man and roadie - and he'll help you with any enquiries, give you a quote for your event and take you through the whole booking process. Once you've sorted out all the finer details then we'll issue you with a contract so you can have complete confidence in your booking.
- What does your fee cover?
Any quote you receive covers all our performance fees, travel costs, use of a full and comprehensive PA system, stage lights and dancefloor lights if you are booking the party band and we don't charge VAT.
- What sort of things will Tony need to know to make an accurate quote?
The start and finish time of your event, the approximate timings that you want the band to play, the time you want the band to set up their equipment by, any additional requirements beyond the live music eg microphone for speeches, disco music after the band have finish their final set.
- We are using the room you will be performing in immediately before you play - how long will you need to set up your equipment?
We can set up in about an hour
once we have access to the room we are playing in - that's not always the same as when you leave the room if tables have to be cleared to make a space for us, so it's good to allow 90 mins to be safe. At a wedding that is actually a nice amount of time between finishing a meal and getting the party started, any sooner and everyone's still full of the lovely food you've just given them and not ready for the dancefloor and you've not had a chance to let your evening guests come and give you a big hug and congratulate you!
- What doesn't your fee cover?
Depending on the nature of you event, we may ask that on top of our fee the following things are provided . . . .
- Overnight accommodation - if the gig is a considerable distance from the fine city of Bristol.
- Refreshments - we ask that soft drinks and food be provided as appropriate - again bearing in mind that we've sometimes travelled a fair distance to get to the venue. We can come to an agreement about refreshments when Tony draws up the contract.
- What will you all be wearing?
We can be as smart or as informal as you like - generally we wear smart stage wear eg boys in sharp shirts and trousers, girls suitably sparkly and glam. But if you have a desired dress code let us know, though we draw a line at full bunny suits (although our trumpeter has been known!!)
